Key Staff

Hello, I’m Mr Rosa.

As Head of Year 7 at QEGS, I feel lucky and privileged  to be able to work with our new students each year, and I’m always excited to see how everyone settles in and what they bring to our school community.

I enjoy seeing Year 7 students engaged in lessons, and it’s brilliant to see how many students get involved in all sorts of different clubs and activities at lunchtime.

I look forward to meeting you all!

Hi, I’m Mr Munro and I’m the SENDCo here at QEGS.

SENDCo stands for “Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator”. My job is to support teachers to meet each child's individual needs and to allow them to overcome difficulties and enjoy success at school. A team of Learning Support Assistants helps me with this.

My room is place that students can come to if they need help or just to chill out with some games at lunchtime.

I’m really looking forward to meeting you on Open Evening!

My name's Mrs. Dawson and I teach Modern Languages. I have taught at several schools in Cumbria and am really happy to have been at QEGS for the last five years.

My other role here is to coordinate primary project work as well as helping with tours and Year 5 Open Evening.

If you have general enquiries about what we can offer you and your child, please contact me.

For admissions queries, please go to the Admissions tab to contact Mrs. Denyer.
